If you’re familiar with the 1920s short horror story “From Beyond” by HP Lovecraft, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about!
The story is told from the first-person perspective of an unnamed narrator & details his experiences with a scientist named Crawford Tillinghast. Tillinghast creates an electronic device that emits a resonance wave, which stimulates an affected person's pineal gland, thereby allowing them to perceive planes of existence outside the scope of accepted reality. It’s a fascinating & thought-provoking read, I highly recommend it!
Now, our little felines are highly intuitive empaths, but did you know that they are in fact interdimensional beings, in that they can see what is not visible to the human eye?
The secret behind the feline vision "superpower" is ultraviolet light {UV} detection.
The lens of the human eye blocks ultraviolet light, but in animals with UV-transparent lenses, ultraviolet light reaches the retina, which converts the light into nerve signals that travel to the brain where the visual system perceives them.
Ultimately, knowing that many animals have ultraviolet vision could provide a deeper understanding of why they behave the way they do.
Surprise! 👻
You have a little ghost hunter!
