Lost & Found Cats in London
At TWB, our dedication to feline wellbeing goes beyond care—it extends to the streets, where our Birds are helping to reunite London's lost little lions with their families. Whether a beloved indoor cat has slipped out unnoticed or an adventurous soul has strayed too far, our mission is to bring them home safely.
How It Works
Our team of dedicated Fear-Free certified Birds are trained to assist with microchip scanning across London. When a lost cat is found, our Birds will carefully scan for a microchip, a crucial first step in identifying & contacting the rightful owner. By collaborating with vets, shelters & local organisations, we aim to offer an effective solution for reconnecting families with their cherished feline companions.
Why Choose the Scan Angel Initiative?
With over a decade of expertise in feline behaviour & care, TWB knows the urgency & sensitivity surrounding a lost cat. Our Fear-Free certified Birds are not only skilled but also compassionate, ready to act swiftly & with a deep understanding of a cat's behaviour under stress. We pride ourselves on being a discreet, professional resource for pet owners in need.
How You Can Help
If you come across a lost cat, don't hesitate to contact us. Our Birds can assist with advice on safely securing your little lion, scanning for a chip & reaching out to local networks to ensure their swift reunion. By acting as a community, we're able to make a real difference for families & their feline companions.
Through this initiative, we're creating a city where every feline, lost or found, is met with compassion & care. Let's keep London safe for our little lions—one scan at a time.
Our Fear-Free professional London pet sitting services & scanners are available in all of our catchments; East Dulwich, West Dulwich, Herne Hill, Peckham, Nunhead, Forest Hill, Sydenham, Crystal Palace & Norwood.
Lost or Found Cats Outside of Our Catchments
If you have lost or found a cat outside of our Dulwich catchment area, we recommend reaching out to organisations such as the Celia Hammond Animal Trust. C.H.A.T have a dedicated rescue & rehoming team that can effectively carry out Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) if necessary. They work tirelessly to provide care & support for stray & feral cats in various locations.
