At THE WINGLESS BIRD, we understand how distressing it can be when a feline companion goes missing or when you come across a seemingly lost cat. That's why we offer a free cat scanning service to help reunite lost cats with their owners. We would like to address some concerns & provide further guidance on this service.
 

Details of the Free Cat Scanning Service
 

Our free cat scanning service is a voluntary initiative provided locally in Dulwich. If you have found a cat you have reason to believe is lost, we can visit your location with our specialised equipment to check for microchips. This enables us to identify the cat & contact the registered owner if a microchip is detected.
 

Please note that this service is currently limited to the Dulwich area & is subject to availability. While we make every effort to assist all residents in reuniting with their lost cats, there may be cases where the cat is outside of our catchment area or our team are fully-booked.
 

Lost or Found Cats Outside of Dulwich
 

If you have lost or found a cat outside our Dulwich catchment area, we recommend reaching out to organisations such as the Celia Hammond Animal Trust. C.H.A.T have a dedicated rescue & rehoming team that can effectively carry out Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) if necessary. They work tirelessly to provide care & support for stray & feral cats in various locations.
