Eee! I do believe it is the season! Who else loves spring cleaning? Tell me I’m not alone!
But wait! Spring cleaning is not just about us, it’s also an opportunity to spring clean for our kitties! So here are 6 things you absolutely must be throwing out now for your feline;
✫ 1. Plastic Bowls
✫ 2. Old Or Damaged Toys
✫ 3. Expired Medication
✫ 4. Expired Treats
✫ 5. Old Bedding
✫ 6. Well-Used Litter Boxes
From plastic bowls to well-used litter boxes, chips, cracks & scratches become a major breeding ground for bacteria, & this bacteria can lead to feline acne, gum disease & a very upset tummy!
Whilst sifting through your own medicine/beauty cabinets this spring, you'll also want to dispose of your feline's expired medications & restore incomplete first-aid kits. Don't forget the food & treats!
Toys & bedding accumulate a lot of bacteria. Changing your feline's bedding every once in a while can really help reduce symptoms of seasonal/environmental allergies {𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑚𝑦 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑜𝑛 𝑓𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑦 𝑓𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟}.
Of course, stuffing, stray threads & tiny loose embellishments can be a choking hazard & can wreak havoc on the digestive system, so be sure to store those toys when they're not in use {ɪɴᴄʀᴇᴀsᴇᴅ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟᴛʏ!} & replace old/damaged toys when they're not looking so cute anymore.
